    Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Appeal Form

    Eligibility for Federal Financial Aid is based on maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). Please complete all steps listed below to appeal your financial aid ineligibility. Failure to submit documentation and follow instructions will result in a denial of your appeal. Once a decision has been reached your SAP status on LoLA will be updated, and you will be sent an email from our office.
  • Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA and successfully complete 67% of all classes taken at SLCC to maintain satisfactory academic progress. Additionally, students must complete their degree  within 150% of the credit hours required for their program.

  • Note: You will need to submit a new SAP appeal upon changing major.

  • Do you have a copy of your degree audit (found on your Degree Works Dashboard on your LoLA account)?*
  • STOP: You will not be able to proceed with the SAP appeal process without your degree audit. All students who have attended SLCC since Fall 2018 have access to the Degree Works dashboard via their LoLA portal. If you have attended SLCC prior to Fall 2018, and do not have access to the Degree Works dashboard, please contact your Academic Advisor for further assistance.

  • SoLAcc's new ConexED software makes it much easier for students to connect with faculty, advisors, and student support services. If your appeal is approved, you will be required to set up your ConexED student profile and complete the pre-appointment form. Additional requirements will be given and monitored via the ConexED portal upon appeal approval.
